Thank you to Wandsworth Arts Council, for selecting Chelsea harbour (left), to be printed onto large street banners to be displayed over the Summer of 2021. This is part of the local arts festival across the South London Borough of Wandsworth.
I am currently working on a commission for artworks to be displayed in a garden space. With the owners permission I will share the work online mid to late August.
I have also been doing drawings of the Battersea Power Station development as it moves towards completion. Currently we can only see exciting glimpses of what's to come from this iconic London site. The presence of the large brick structure has been persevered by careful council planning. All buildings in the immediate vicinity are required to use contrasting materials. The reflective qualities of the glass, metallic and steel structures will complement my always vibrant colour palette.
I'm look forward to travelling and to seeing Sydney Harbour again once Covid restrictions are lifted . Until then I will have to be content with my drawings done in early 2019. I intend on creating a series depicting this gem of a city.
